Recipe: Matcha Latte

Ingredients :

  • 1 teaspoon of matcha powder
  • 1 cup of almond milk (or other plant-based milk)
  • 1 teaspoon of maple syrup or honey (optional)

Instructions :

  1. Heat the almond milk in a small saucepan without letting it boil.
  2. In a bowl, sift the matcha powder to avoid lumps, then add a little hot water (about 1/4 cup).
  3. Whisk vigorously until the matcha is well dissolved and slightly frothy.
  4. Pour the hot milk into a cup, add the matcha and sweeten with maple syrup if desired.
  5. Sprinkle a pinch of matcha powder on top to decorate, then enjoy hot.
